: I got a traffic ticket when I made a right turn during certain hours when traffic was not allowed. The sign was blocked as the roads were very crowded. Can I avoid paying the fine? What if I want to plead not guilty? Can I not turn up in court and if I didn't what happens?
***Some jurisdictions let you plead not guilty via the mail. If you go to court and explain the situation they may reduce the fine.If you don't turn up in court by the due date of the fine you could face surcharges and you know the rest(towing suspension etc)
