: I had a DUI arrest in Indiana last year and the state agreed to dismiss the charges if I pled guilty to reckless driving. I did. I have two questions: First, since the DUI was dismissed, could I ever get this arrest sealed (I've searched the Net for 'expungement' and could not get a definate answer regarding Indiana law). Second, if a police-officer were to 'run my license' at any given time from their squad car, would the see the arrest or only the R.D.? Thanks!
**I don't believe they can see your arrest record without fingerprinting you. What they may be able to see is your DMV records indicating the convictions for the driving offenses like RD. If they fingerprinted you they then could see your charges upon arrest. I cannot answer question #1
