: Hi. I am trying to figure out if it is worth it to get my record sealed, so I can be a teacher. It was reccomended that I get my fingerprints taken and send it in to the FBI Records Review Unit to see if anything comes up. Anyone know how to go about doing this? Thanks - Vanessa
**Go to a police agency and get fingerprinted. You may wish to request fingerprint cards from the FBI at FBI- SCU- CJIS Division- Identification Unit 1000 Custer Hollow Rd, Clarksburg, W Va 26306. You will have to pay to get fingerprinted by a police agency and then you will have to send your prints to the FBI. I believe their fee is $18 by money order only. You have to tell them that you are making your request under the Freedom Of Information Act.
